- A dynamic calibration can start from your home or workplace.
- A static calibration needs a workshop.
- We tell you which applies when we quote, from your rego or VIN.
When it can be done mobile
A dynamic calibration is done by driving the vehicle, so it can start from wherever the car is. After we fit the windscreen at your home or workplace and the vehicle is safe to drive, the technician connects a scan tool and drives it on well-marked roads until the calibration completes.
It needs fair weather and clear lane markings. If conditions are not good enough on the day, the drive is done when they are.

When it needs a workshop
A static calibration uses targets placed at measured distances and heights in front of the vehicle. That takes a level floor, clear space and steady lighting, which a driveway or a car park cannot guarantee. Those vehicles are booked into our Warwick Farm workshop.
How you find out
We check the procedure for your vehicle from its rego or VIN when we quote, and we tell you then whether the whole job can be done at your location or whether part of it needs the workshop.
If your vehicle needs the workshop
You can have the windscreen replaced and calibrated in one booking at Warwick Farm. The workshop is in south-west Sydney, close to the M5 and M7.
