How we find the right glass for your Isuzu

Isuzu windscreen fitment varies across the range. Recent vehicles may have an IDAS stereo camera behind the mirror, while earlier builds commonly have plain glass. We check your registration or VIN to identify the windscreen your vehicle needs before our technician arrives.

We also check whether the glass needs a camera bracket, rain-sensor provision or a particular acoustic or solar specification. If you need Isuzu windscreen repair, a small chip can often be fixed instead of replacing the glass.

  • Camera bracket and mirror-area fittings

  • Rain-sensor provision

  • Acoustic or solar glass specification

Preparing to replace your Isuzu windscreen

We check these four details so the glass and visit suit your vehicle.

  • Glass variant

We check your Isuzu’s glass specification for a rain sensor, camera bracket and any acoustic or solar features.

  • Camera and sensor fitment

We check for IDAS camera and sensor fitment, then plan ADAS recalibration with the replacement where your vehicle needs it.

  • Safety-glazing compliance

We check that the replacement glass meets the safety-glazing requirements.

  • Booking details

We confirm your rego or VIN, where your Isuzu is parked, and a day and time that suits you.

Isuzu models

Isuzu windscreen features by model

We use your vehicle details before booking to check its glass fitment and arrange any camera work the replacement requires.

  • Isuzu D-Max

Recent D-Max builds use an IDAS stereo camera behind the mirror; earlier builds commonly have plain glass.

  • Isuzu MU-X

Recent MU-X builds share the stereo camera fitment, so we plan recalibration with the replacement.

  • Another Isuzu model?

We confirm the glass for any Isuzu from the rego or VIN.

IDAS and ADAS calibration after glass replacement

IDAS uses a stereo camera behind the mirror on recent D-Max and MU-X vehicles. The camera looks through the windscreen, so replacing the glass can change its view. Recalibration helps the driver-assist system read the road through the new glass.

Static calibration uses a stationary vehicle and set targets. Dynamic calibration uses a drive under the required conditions. We confirm whether your Isuzu needs recalibration and which method applies to its model and build, then include that work in the replacement plan.

How a Isuzu windscreen replacement works

STEP 1 of 5

We remove any broken glass with care

If a shattered screen has left glass inside your Isuzu, our technicians vacuum it out and protect the seats and trim before any work starts.

We remove the damaged windscreen

Modern tools lift the old glass out without damaging paint or interior trim.

If a toll tag is fitted to the old windscreen, we transfer it to the new one.

STEP 3 of 5

New rubber seals every time

The old seals come off and new ones go on with every replacement, so the new windscreen is sealed against water, dust and wind noise.

STEP 4 of 5

Urethane applied to the new glass

A high-quality urethane bond is applied so the windscreen sits exactly as the factory intended. We tell you when your Isuzu is safe to drive.

Fitted, checked and calibrated

The new windscreen is fitted and checked, and any camera behind the mirror is recalibrated where your Isuzu needs it.

All glass we fit complies with the Australian Vehicle Standard for Safety Glazing.

Glass choices for your Isuzu

Across the Isuzu range, the glass needs to suit the fittings on your vehicle, including any camera behind the mirror. Genuine Isuzu glass is supplied as an Isuzu part. OEM-equivalent aftermarket glass is an alternative made for the applicable fitment. Ask us for genuine glass when you request your quote if that is your preference.

All glass we fit complies with the Australian Vehicle Standard for safety glazing. Our fitting is covered by a lifetime workmanship warranty.

Where your Isuzu glass work happens

Whether your Isuzu is a work ute or family SUV, we can come to your home, workplace or a roadside location across Sydney to replace its windscreen. If you need Isuzu windscreen repair, we can often fix a small chip on site instead of replacing the glass.

Some ADAS camera calibrations need our Warwick Farm workshop. We confirm whether a mobile visit or a workshop booking suits your vehicle when we arrange the job, so you know where the work will happen.
