Ford glass depends on what your vehicle has fitted

Across the Ford range, windscreens can differ in their camera brackets, rain-sensor fittings, acoustic glass and heated wiper park areas. We use your registration or VIN to confirm the glass your vehicle needs before our technician arrives.

If you are after Ford windscreen repair, a small chip can often be repaired instead of replacing the glass. Tell us about the damage so we can assess the right job for your windscreen.

Four checks for your Ford windscreen

We confirm the glass and fitted features, then arrange the work around your location.

  • Glass variant

We check your Ford for a rain sensor, camera bracket and any acoustic or solar glass specification.

  • Camera and sensor fitment

We check what sits behind your mirror and whether ADAS recalibration needs to be planned with the replacement.

  • Safety-glazing compliance

We check that your Ford glass meets safety-glazing requirements.

  • Booking details

We confirm your rego or VIN, where your Ford is parked, and a day and time that suits you.

Ford models

Ford windscreen details by model

We use your vehicle details to select the right windscreen and plan any camera work before you book. These features vary across the Ford range.

  • Ford Ranger

Recent Ranger builds have a forward camera and often a heated wiper park area.

  • Ford Everest

Recent Everest builds share the Ranger's forward camera and windscreen fitment.

  • Ford Focus

Later Focus builds have a forward camera and rain sensor behind the mirror.

  • Ford Puma

The Puma has a forward camera behind the mirror, plus a rain and light sensor.

  • Ford Escape

Some Escape grades use acoustic laminated glass; recent builds have a camera and rain sensor.

  • Ford Mustang

Later Mustang builds have a forward camera behind the mirror and a large, steeply raked windscreen.

  • Ford Transit

Older Transit builds usually have plain glass; recent builds add a forward camera behind the mirror.

  • Another Ford model?

We confirm the glass for any Ford from the rego or VIN.

Ford Co-Pilot360 and ADAS recalibration

Ford Co-Pilot360 uses a forward camera behind the mirror on recent Ranger and Everest builds. When we replace a windscreen with a mounted camera, we check its recalibration requirement so the driver-assist system can read the road from its new position.

Static calibration uses fixed targets while the vehicle is stationary. Dynamic calibration uses a drive under set conditions. We confirm which approach your Ford model and build needs and plan the recalibration with the replacement.

We remove any broken glass with care

If a shattered screen has left glass inside your Ford, our technicians vacuum it out and protect the seats and trim before any work starts.

STEP 2 of 5

We remove the damaged windscreen

Modern tools lift the old glass out without damaging paint or interior trim.

If a toll tag is fitted to the old windscreen, we transfer it to the new one.

Technician removing the old rubber seals from a car
STEP 3 of 5

New rubber seals every time

The old seals come off and new ones go on with every replacement, so the new windscreen is sealed against water, dust and wind noise.

STEP 4 of 5

Urethane applied to the new glass

A high-quality urethane bond is applied so the windscreen sits exactly as the factory intended. We tell you when your Ford is safe to drive.

I had the bad luck to break the rear window in my Ford Everest. 5pm on Friday of Anzac weekend. Insurer rec repairer could not do it until Thursday afternoon. Mobile Windscreens fixed it the next afternoon. Louis explained everything and did a great job.
