Finding the right windscreen across the Suzuki range

Many Suzukis have plain windscreens, while some recent builds need glass with fittings for a camera or a combined camera and laser sensor unit behind the mirror. We use your registration or VIN to confirm the correct part before our technician arrives.

A small chip does not always call for a new windscreen. If you need Suzuki windscreen repair, we can often repair the chip instead of replacing the glass.

Four Suzuki details we check before fitting

We line up the glass, camera needs and visit details for your vehicle.

  • Glass variant

We check your Suzuki’s windscreen specification for a rain-sensor fitting, camera bracket and any acoustic or solar glass.

  • Camera and sensor fitment

We check what sits behind the mirror and plan ADAS recalibration with the replacement when your vehicle requires it.

  • Safety-glazing compliance

We check that the replacement glass meets safety-glazing requirements.

  • Booking details

We confirm your rego or VIN, where your Suzuki is parked, and a day and time that suits you.

Suzuki models

Suzuki models and their windscreen fitments

We check your vehicle details before booking because the glass and equipment behind the mirror can differ between builds.

  • Suzuki Swift

Recent Swift builds can have a forward camera or camera and laser sensor unit; earlier builds use plain glass.

  • Suzuki Vitara

Recent Vitara builds have a camera and laser sensor unit behind the mirror; earlier builds are commonly plain glass.

  • Suzuki Jimny

The Jimny has a small upright windscreen, and the current generation has a camera and laser sensor unit.

  • Suzuki S-Cross

Recent S-Cross builds have a forward camera behind the mirror; earlier builds are commonly plain glass.

  • Suzuki Baleno

The Baleno usually has plain windscreen glass without a camera.

  • Suzuki Ignis

The Ignis usually has plain windscreen glass without a camera.

  • Another Suzuki model?

We confirm the glass for any Suzuki from the rego or VIN.

When Suzuki ADAS needs camera recalibration

Recent Swift, Vitara, Jimny and S-Cross builds can have a forward ADAS camera or a combined camera and laser sensor unit behind the mirror. After we replace the windscreen, we check whether your model and build needs camera recalibration to align its view of the road.

Static calibration checks the camera while the vehicle is stationary. Dynamic calibration checks it during a drive. We confirm which method your Suzuki requires and include any needed recalibration in the replacement plan.

STEP BY STEP

How a Suzuki windscreen replacement works

Broken glass on a car seat before clean-up
STEP 1 of 5

We remove any broken glass with care

If a shattered screen has left glass inside your Suzuki, our technicians vacuum it out and protect the seats and trim before any work starts.

STEP 2 of 5

We remove the damaged windscreen

Modern tools lift the old glass out without damaging paint or interior trim.

If a toll tag is fitted to the old windscreen, we transfer it to the new one.

Technician removing the old rubber seals from a car
STEP 3 of 5

New rubber seals every time

The old seals come off and new ones go on with every replacement, so the new windscreen is sealed against water, dust and wind noise.

STEP 4 of 5

Urethane applied to the new glass

A high-quality urethane bond is applied so the windscreen sits exactly as the factory intended. We tell you when your Suzuki is safe to drive.

Fitted, checked and calibrated

The new windscreen is fitted and checked, and any camera behind the mirror is recalibrated where your Suzuki needs it.

All glass we fit complies with the Australian Vehicle Standard for Safety Glazing.

Suzuki windscreen glass: part choice and fitting

Suzuki replacement windscreens come in different specifications. Some need fittings behind the mirror, while others do not. Genuine glass is supplied as a Suzuki part. OEM-equivalent aftermarket glass is another option matched to your vehicle’s specification.

If you prefer genuine Suzuki glass, ask us to include it in your quote. All glass we fit complies with the Australian Vehicle Standard for safety glazing. Our fitting is covered by a lifetime workmanship warranty.

Where we can fit your Suzuki windscreen

For Suzuki owners across Sydney, we can replace a windscreen at your home, workplace or a roadside location. We can also come to you for a chip repair.

Some ADAS calibrations may need our Warwick Farm workshop. We tell you whether your Suzuki needs a workshop visit when we arrange the replacement, so you know where each step will happen.
