Finding the glass your Subaru needs

Across the Subaru range, windscreens can differ in their EyeSight camera mounts, rain-sensor provision and acoustic or solar glass. We use your registration or VIN to confirm the part for your car before our technician arrives.

If you need Subaru windscreen repair, a small chip can often be fixed without replacing the windscreen. Tell us about the damage when you request your quote.

Our Subaru pre-fit checks

We line up the glass, camera work and visit details before your replacement.

  • Glass variant

We check your Subaru’s specification for a rain sensor, camera bracket and any acoustic or solar glass.

  • Camera and sensor fitment

We check for EyeSight cameras and other sensor fittings, then plan any ADAS recalibration with the replacement.

  • Safety-glazing compliance

We check that the glass for your Subaru meets safety-glazing requirements.

  • Booking details

We confirm your rego or VIN, where your Subaru is parked, and a day and time that suits you.

Subaru models

What each Subaru windscreen may need

The equipment on your Subaru determines the glass and camera work we organise. We check your vehicle details before booking the job.

  • Subaru Forester

Most Forester builds have EyeSight twin cameras, which need EyeSight-suitable glass.

  • Subaru Outback

Outback has EyeSight stereo cameras, and some grades use acoustic laminated glass.

  • Subaru Crosstrek

Crosstrek’s EyeSight stereo cameras mean we plan recalibration with replacement.

  • Subaru Impreza

Most recent Impreza builds have EyeSight cameras; earlier builds commonly use plain glass.

  • Subaru WRX

Recent WRX builds have EyeSight cameras; earlier manual builds often use plain glass.

  • Subaru Levorg

Every Levorg build has EyeSight stereo cameras behind the mirror.

  • Another Subaru model?

We confirm the glass for any Subaru from the rego or VIN.

Subaru EyeSight and ADAS after glass fitting

EyeSight uses twin stereo cameras at the top of the windscreen. You’ll find it on the Outback, Crosstrek and Levorg, on most Forester builds, and on recent Impreza and WRX builds. After fitting new glass, we recalibrate the cameras so their view aligns with the replacement windscreen.

Static calibration takes place while the car is stationary; dynamic calibration uses a drive on the road. We check your Subaru’s model and build to confirm the recalibration it needs and arrange it with the replacement.

STEP BY STEP

How a Subaru windscreen replacement works

Broken glass on a car seat before clean-up
STEP 1 of 5

We remove any broken glass with care

If a shattered screen has left glass inside your Subaru, our technicians vacuum it out and protect the seats and trim before any work starts.

Technicians removing a damaged car windscreen
STEP 2 of 5

We remove the damaged windscreen

Modern tools lift the old glass out without damaging paint or interior trim.

If a toll tag is fitted to the old windscreen, we transfer it to the new one.

Technician removing the old rubber seals from a car
STEP 3 of 5

New rubber seals every time

The old seals come off and new ones go on with every replacement, so the new windscreen is sealed against water, dust and wind noise.

Technician applying urethane to a car windscreen aperture
STEP 4 of 5

Urethane applied to the new glass

A high-quality urethane bond is applied so the windscreen sits exactly as the factory intended. We tell you when your Subaru is safe to drive.

Fitted, checked and calibrated

The new windscreen is fitted and checked, and any camera behind the mirror is recalibrated where your Subaru needs it.

All glass we fit complies with the Australian Vehicle Standard for Safety Glazing.

Genuine or aftermarket glass for your Subaru

Some Subaru windscreens use acoustic laminated glass, while others need glass suited to EyeSight. Genuine Subaru glass is supplied as a Subaru part. OEM-equivalent aftermarket glass is an alternative matched to your vehicle's fitment. You can ask us for genuine glass when you request a quote.

All glass we fit complies with the Australian Vehicle Standard for safety glazing. Our fitting is covered by a lifetime workmanship warranty.

Had the team come out today to remove an old rear windscreen from my (discontinued) 86 merc and fit into another one, very difficult job and fragile but the boys turned up and got it done .
Great service at the best price i could find in Sydney - called yesterday afternoon - came this morning to my house and fixed rear window - technician Sal went above and beyond - I didn't expect him to vacuum out all the glass throughout the van that was not his mess - on-top of…
