City Safety cameras and Volvo ADAS recalibration
City Safety uses a camera and radar unit behind the mirror on recent Volvo builds, including the XC40, XC60 and XC90. After we replace a windscreen, the camera may need recalibration so its view of the road lines up with the new glass.
Static calibration checks the camera while the vehicle is stationary. Dynamic calibration uses a drive under set conditions. We confirm which method, if any, your Volvo's model and build requires and include that in the plan for your replacement.

Across the Volvo range, replacement glass must suit the fitted sensors and any head-up display. Genuine glass is supplied as a Volvo part. OEM-equivalent aftermarket glass is an alternative that we match to your vehicle's specification. You can ask us to quote for genuine glass.
All glass we fit complies with the Australian Vehicle Standard for safety glazing. Our fitting is covered by a lifetime workmanship warranty; that cover applies to the fitting, not the glass.
